Awesome Leftover Soup!

I hope that everyone had as good of a Thanksgiving as I did! We had turkey, dressing, green beans, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, olives, and sweet pickles. Then pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream for dessert! Yum!!!!!!!

For lunch today we ate leftovers, but what to do for dinner when you spent the whole day before cooking? Give this awesome soup I came up with a try!

Creamy Turkey Noodle Soup
4 Cups of broth
leftover gravy
4 carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 stalk of celery, chopped
3 big handfuls egg noodles
4 cups of leftover turkey meat
2 cans cream of whatever soup...we used mushroom
1 can evaporated milk

Combine broth and gravy with veggies, boil around 10 minutes. Then add noodles and cook for around 5-8 minutes more. Add turkey, soup, and milk. Stir til smooth and cook until warm.

We enjoyed this with dinner rolls as a yummy, hearty dinner soup. I hope you enjoy it too!

Can't wait to try but I'd have to wait for some turkey opportunity (or leftover chicken in my case since I missed Tday this year). Thanks for sharing, Natalie
